Our mission is to improve environmental governance and environmental law in the country, through a citizen-led and supported movement. This will be achieved through environmental education, advocacy and public interest litigation. PILAE is committed to driving a nationwide movement that brings together communities, legal professionals, activists, and policy makers to tackle pressing environmental issues. Through advocacy and strategic litigation, we aim to influence policy, hold governments and corporations accountable, and protect Kenya’s natural resources for future generations.
