Mutemi wears many hats as a Community Organizer, Scenario Builder, Movement Coach & Facilitator, and Member of the Coordinating Collective of the Africans Rising Movement. Mutemi is also a Social Justice Advocate/Activist and a Human Rights Defender who uses online to offline & offline to online spaces for advocacy. Mutemi pioneered the use of social media for advocacy in Kenya by founding @Maskani254 in conjunction with @NiSisiKenya & @KPTJ_Kenya. Together they have, since 2013, disrupted and transformed advocacy & social media engagement in Kenya to be about issues affecting all. Mutemi is a skilled community organizer and mobilizer as well as a connector and movement builder around social justice and social accountability issues that matter to ordinary citizens.
